Hey all! 

So when Nina from Model City announced a few weeks ago that there was going to be a sale I just knew I had to get something.

My intent had been to get up early and order some of the bottles I've been lusting for.

As luck would have it I overslept. Woke up, turned off my alarm, laid back for what I thought would be a few seconds,
and then I woke up 2 hours later  >.<

Thankfully I did manage to get two new beauties, and the first one I have to share is Sugar Cookie.

Fathers Day 2014 N/OOTD

Hey there!

So yesterday was Father's day.
My parents and I stayed in in the morning and watched some soccer.
Then we went to my aunt's house for dinner and I got to hang out with my amazing little god daughter.
And I can't believe it but she's graduating preschool. It's insane!

There's nothing like a fun floral mani to get me in the mood for summer.

Green Tea

Hey there!

So last week I had the most desperate desire for high tea.

I knew that there was only one person who would truly understand so

I hit up Gee from In Jeeb We Trust, and we decided to try out a

new spot rather than our usual hideout on Main Street.

And how was it? Well it was quite possibly the girliest place I've ever been to.

Pink everything. Soft music. The most precious tea set with all the right accessories.

And the food was seriously outstanding. Best cucumber sandwich I've ever had in my life!

If you live in Vancity and love a unique tea experience definitely try out Patisserie Fur Elise.

Then take photos and share them and make me insanely jealous.

Now onto the manicure I wore!

Blue Lagoon

Hey friends! Happy Monday.

It's a long weekend here in beautiful British Columbia.

Yesterday I went out for a hike with my parents and took in some mother nature at Rice Lake. 

When I was younger I had a passion for climbing rocks and traversing ravens.
I can clearly remember climbing up a huge stack of rocks to get to a small little island while my granny freaked out.
I don't do it as much now but the need to go on long walks and discover new places has never left.
 I'm always trying to discover a new place in this city.

I was immediately smitten with this polish. 3 thin easy coats and it was perfect.

I was expecting a lighter blue but this was so much better. And I love the name!

I ordered this great pack of 1200 simple nail art decorations (you can find them here)
and I wanted to compare the ivory and white pearls. To add a bit more whimsy I also added a cute little bow.

Butterfly Effect

Hey there!
Last time I told you I'd be sharing what I wore on my digits for Mother's Day.
So here they are.

This was my first time using the O.P.I sheers and I have to say I really like them.
I love the colours! And I love that you can combine them to make even more shades.
The versatility is so great. I'm going to be trying these out again soon.   

 Do you like the butterflies? Kind of make my heart flutter.
And I like that they smudged a little. Made it a little more vintage-looking.
